Youngman Roofing Set To Expand Its Footprint In The Southern Cape
Youngman Roofing – one of South Africa’s leading suppliers of roofing and insulation – is set to expand its footprint in the Southern Cape.
From 1 March 2019, George-based company, Roof Handler, will be fully incorporated into the Youngman Roofing Group and start trading as Youngman Southern Cape. The Group currently operates branches in Cape Town and Pretoria. Its head office is based in Maitland, Cape Town, which is also home to a roll-forming plant.
Over the past four years, Youngman Roofing has been partnering with Roof Handler to offer the widest selection of high-quality roofing and insulation materials in the region. The upcoming change will lead to further improvements in relation to product offering and availability to developers, contractors and homeowners. One of these changes will include the introduction of two new concealed-fix profiles – Diamondek 700 and Diamondek 425.
Geoff McIver, Director of Youngman Roofing, said: “This is an exciting development for Youngman Roofing and we are looking forward to servicing clients across the region and beyond in 2019. Roof Handler is a household name in the Southern Cape and we have enjoyed partnering with the business over the past four years.
“Although the name is formally changing at the start of March, customers can still expect to experience the same professional service and have access to an even wider range of products.”
Roof Handler, which is based in George’s Industrial Area, first opened its doors in 2004. Over the past 14 years, it has become known for its professional expertise and commitment to providing industry-leading products and service. Following the transition, the team in George will continue to be led by current General Manager, Francois Griesel, who has been part of the Roof Handler setup since 2011.
